its been well its been about 4 months since i last updated for real. Currently we are at 21.5 weeks pregnant and its a girl! I've started collecting clothes (all hand me downs so far and i'm pretty sure i will have NO need to buy this lady ANYTHING) we have gotten SO many cute things! I can't wait to have a girl running around and evening things out around here!
Noah is getting huge and even with his speech delay he's finally starting to talk up a storm.. he seems to be excited about getting his own baby but i dont think he can possibly actually comprehend the storm that is about to land in his direction! He LOVES trucks, cars, airplanes, helicopters, and busses... basically if it is big and moves.. he likes it! I have started creating a big boy room for him where our guest room used to be.. i think he's going to love it.. i used magnetic primer in parts of it so that he will be able to play with magnets on his wall. Its bright blue and bright green and he will have bunkbeds and a cars/construction mat to drive his cars on.. as i type this he made his way over to the couch and pulled up my shirt and started kissing my belly saying "hi baby" ... he's such a love even though he's most certainly a two year old boy.. ALSO .. notably last night i took him to the market with me and he likes to sit in the carts that have the car on front .. well they are completely enclosed and apparently while we were inthe checkout line he snagged himself 6 full sized candy bars.. a whole variety.. no 2 the same.. that was an embarassing two trips back inside to return them as i found them.. he was very proud of himself when we got to the car though! " LOOK MOMMY!!" with two hand fuls of candy! I talked to him about the wrong things to do but i couldn't be mad because he sees me put things into the cart and then we stand around for a minute and then walk out.. i dont thinkhe comprehends what that standing around thing has to do with anything!
We just celebrated our 1 year homeivarsary on the 3rd (chris' birthday) and it made me feel like i REALLY need to finish painting this place so that it looks more homey and decorated... i just have soooo much going on right now! Been feeling pretty good.. at last dr. checkup i had gained 3 lbs total and i think that was at 19 weeks.. so thats a significant improvement to the disaster that was my waist during the last pregnancy. I've been busy with sewing and embroidering but currently my machine is at the shop getting a tune up .. i miss it .. hah that thing hasnt seen the closet .. ever! she has a permanant spot on the craft desk .. but i thought she deserved a tune up and some adjustments! anyway nap time for the kidlet and the momma!

well friends, it's here
my little boy is officially 2 years old today. wow!
weight: 29 lbs
height: 34.5 inches
head: 19 inches..
all average and right on track :)
here are a few things about my little dude and his growing.. everything!
his vocabulary is getting bigger and bigger by the day! he still doesn't have sentences that make sense and usually doesn't even put words together.. except for example : string cheese
if its the name of the thing he does 2 words .. but mostly just one. some of his favorite words are Mommy, kitty, dogdog, peas(please), baby, uhhuh (this is actually thank you.. he says it in the same... i dunno.. tone? or whatever as thank you), dada, car, tuck (truck), moo (moon), and peepee (yep.. he's a boy)
a few weeks ago i switched him into a toddler bed and he's been LOVIN it.. the only problem i have is that he's been waking up earlier because of it! boooo!
he loves to play with cars and trucks and his lawn mower.. will push that thing EVERYWHERE if you let him.
He's a little lover.. he likes to give kisses and he's REALLY good at giving hugs... nice , tight around the neck hugs and it melts my heart when he comes to say goodnight to me (nightnight time is Daddy and noah's extra special time)
Noah has a little best friend named Owen.. Owen is 2 months younger than him but they are always out on adventures together.. Owen calls Noah "Nos" (noce) and Noah calls owen "OOOOOoo" and Owens mom, Shelby, and i call them collectively Nowen.
This little fella LOVES babies.. LOVES them.. which is a great thing for use because when march rolls around he will in fact be big brother! as seen on his birthday cake! i wasn't so excited about announcing this early but i was so stuck on the cake idea that i just couldn't help it!

a baby no more
well, i now i havent updated in a while.. i've been SUPER busy but more about that later.
my plan was always to switch noah into a toddler bed at age 2 and then a few months later into the twin bed. he wont be 2 for another 3 weeks but i was cleaning his bedroom this weekend and so i just went for it.. converted his crib to the toddler bed.
sad moment for me to see it go, but i was still expecting a fight, or it to be a pain.. it was NOT at all.. i put him down, he got up twice but climbed right back in and was asleep within 5 minutes and he's been fine for 3 days of naps and 3 nights of through the night sleeping..
sigh.
anyway.. what i was saying about being extremely busy.. i have decided to take my crafting to the next level and do booths at craft faires. I have one this month on the 28th and *fingers crossed* one on october 22nd at the clairemont arts and crafts faire. These are some of the things i've been making a ton of

only 2 months?
my goodness.. there are less than 2 months left until my tiny (okay not so tiny) little 8 lb 4 oz baby boy will be TWO YEARS old.. not even believable. as i type this he is sitting next to me "opening" our mail. In real life he is ripping it all to pieces and then shoving it under the couch.. but its all junk so i'm not so concerned. In other news Noah AND Chris will be in a wedding on saturday so we're getting ready for that.
We also got a new car this week because Chris sold his truck..
I've also been super swamped with orders from my etsy store which is great but i have so much going on this week that its a touch stressful.. but i love it and i love that people love what i'm doing enough to pay for it so no complaints from me!
i guess thats all for now.. a mini update anyway :)

my little dude
In 2.5 months my little mr. will be 2 years old.. this is CRAZY to me.. i seriously am torn in the middle of feeling like he hasn't been here for TWO WHOLE years.. and feeling like he has been with us forever. He is such a character... yes he throws tantrums, yes he is stubborn, yes he screams and disobeys.. but he also LOVES to give kisses and hugs. he loves to dance with us clap his hands. he loves loves loves to be outside and i'm pretty sure if i put a blanket, pillow and some snacks out there he would NEVER come inside. he loves babies (bay-bay) and dogs (dogdogs). He also loves to brush his teeth and wear daddy's shoes. he likes to play chase and get horsie back rides too! ... i just love him.. he's soo much fun and such a little angel.. even when he's throwing tantrums he always follows it up with something adorable or loving and i just can't stay upset with him.. here are some pictures of him from the other day trying on the suit for the wedding he will be in next month!
