day 14

a tv show i'm currently addicted to
well since we moved we didnt get any special tv. just the very most basic channels.. i used to watch pretty much anything .. there was something on that caught my interest at any point of the day, which makes me exceedingly glad that we dont have that anymore.. i spend so much less time on the couch! anyway we still watch our favorite shows every week, just download them. I'll save my 2 favorites for last because thats what i have pictures of! so..  without further ado.. we watch... Lie to me, Southland, Modern Family, Justified (Timothy Olephant <3), Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory. These shows we both enjoy but i think that my two favorites are :

BONES and

How I Met Your Mother.. (which just officially got picked up for another 2 seasons! woooo!)

day 13

my favorite musician and why..
this is a toughy for me.. i used to be ALL into music.. i have a list of about 5 that rank right up in the top real close .. but i would have to say that my all time favorite is Thrice . Teppei, Dustin, Riley, and Ed .. they are AMAZING and creative and all of their albums are different but still fantastic. I have seen them in concert probably 6 times and every time they were nothing short of amazing. there's nothing on their albums that they dont do on stage which i like! They seem to be genuinely good hearted men with morals. They have yet to "sell out".. i could seriously listen to them all day every day. <3

a few days late.. but 19 months

my little terror is 19 months old now! YIKES! where has time gone?!?!
while i'm so excited to be where we are now with him.. it just seems like he's growing up TOO fast. yesterday i looked back at him while Chris was driving and he was sitting in his carseat with his bowl of fruitsnacks munching away and he just looked like he takes up his WHOLE carseat. since when??
anyway some things that he's into:
-still dancing to any sort of music he hears.. even if you're just singing to him
-he loves to talk and yell although what he's saying.. still no clue!
-he now gets half of his mealtime beverages in a big boy cup.. not a sippy cup! and he's doing SO good with it and he gets SOOOO excited when he sees it coming!
-he loves to give kisses

-he can identify most of his parts (nose, mouth, ear, belly,etc)
-he is generally such a happy boy super easy to make him laugh
-despite the above statement , he has also learned to throw tantrums.. the kind where he slaps you and or the closest objects to him when he's displeased or doesn't get what he wants.
-he's absolutely a climber.. everything he can possibly climb he does
-he was on his first antibiotics for a sinus infection

-i dont think he's grown too much so pretty close to the last stats i'd say still
-he's a helper.. he will help you with anything he can that you ask him to (like mowing the lawn!)

-i'm pretty sure we've almost officially lost his second nap of the day, but we HAVE picked up an extra 2 hours at night.. this was the case for 4 of the last 7 days and i can't say that i  mind too much.. the 2 quiet hours in the afternoon were nice.. but i also enjoy the later wake up call
- he loves babies! i love watching him with other kids because i think he's gonna make such a good big brother one day!
-everytime we pick him up from the childcare class at church they tell us how good he was and that he just wanted to play! when we first started going there he was always being held by someone when we got back to pick him up! so glad he's opening up to it and enjoying himself!

-he's a big copy cat.. you laugh,he laughs, you read, he reads. etc.. its wonderful! and entertaining!
i just love this little guy so much! i can't believe he's going to be TWO in 5 months!

this is the view from the front of my house up the street to the hills of rancho cucamonga last week. after the big storms that came through the mountains were COVERED with snow.. so pretty.

what's in my makeup bag??
well.. i don't have a makeup bag. i don't take it with me because if i'm out long enough for it to look bad.. then i don't care what i look like at that point! i have a drawer at home. and an overnight bag that i pack when we will be gone .. overnight obviously..

Frank's is my favorite place to eat. I have spent so much time there and the food is always good... and also when i eat there i get to see my parents :)

day 9

a photo of the item i last purchased.WELL i purchased 2 things at the same time.. one of them is far more exciting.. not because of WHAT it is.. but.. well anyway.. i bought some bananas for noah

and for me i bought a brand new pair of jeans. they of course were on clearance for 9 dollars.. i dont pay full price for jeans. EVER. anyway the significant part of these jeans is that they are size 2 .. i havent fit into a size 2 since before i was pregnant.. it's nice to know that the hard work i've been doing in class is paying off .. these are very similar to what my new size 2 jeans look like!
