day 30

a picture of myself today and how i feel:
well today i'm feeling good. Noah and i went on a fieldtrip with Luna moms club to the california science center .. it was WAY too crowded but it wore noah out and he took a good 4.5 hour nap when we got home and i finished a quilt i was working on! this morning before we went we had a photo shoot and here is one of my favorites.. we were copy catting each other .. he's so cute!

day 29

something i could never get tired of doing:
hugging and kissing my boys, hearing them laugh, watching them play. it warms my heart daily. Chris is such a good daddy and noah is such a good (although challenging) little boy... i can't wait to add to our little family!

my favorite movie:
well i think for old times sake i will have to say Nightmare Before Christmas. i used to watch that movie on a daily basis and i can still quote every line in it.. although its been a bit since i watched it!

this is me last year.. (well technically this was 09, but right at the end) i chose it because it showcases pretty well how heavy i let myself stay after i had noah.. he's already almost 6 months old in this picture and i'm obviously still packing the pounds. soon after this i decided it was time but i totally didnt take is seriously.. so while i lost about 15 lbs on my own i still didn't exercise the way i should have. 3 months ago i started a workout class for the post baby body of moms.. its called body back and i was a member of the first rancho cucamonga class. so the next picture is 2 in 1.. the before was taken january 18th the after march 10th

I am taking the class for the second time, we just started this morning. I am going to keep doing body back until i get pregnant again at which point i will switch my membership to stroller strides to maintain fitness and control weight gain this time around!

what's in my purse?
well.. my wallet, 3 pens (one is a highlighter), my coupon folder (yes i'm 90 years old and carry it around with me) a few receipts, a lip gloss, and randomly there are 2 links of monsters pinch collar in there right now.. i'm not sure why i haven't taken those out as they are 100% unnecessary!

15 facts about me:
1) i have the most amazing husband on the planet
2) i think my son is probably the cutest little boy on the planet
3) i love my dogs and i treat them like children.. and i would even more if my husband allowed it!
4) i am a soccer player although it turns out that i just like to work out. but still lack the ability to motivate myself to do so.
5) if i were a millionaire i would buy a big house just so i could have/adopt tons of kids and dogs
6) i love to be creative and do crafts, but i'm really not very artistic (bummer)
7) i love chick flicks and dumb teenage girl movies.
8) i finally found a group of friends (via luna moms) that i feel like i fit in with and have a lot in common with..
9) Until now i've never actually felt like i belonged with the friends i had.. just joined them so i wouldn't be alone
10) I like to cook but i'm afraid to try new things that are a little bit crazy because i hate wasting food.. and what if it sucks??
11) i wish that i had gone to college for either interior design or psychology.. people really fascinate me
12) because people fascinate me so much i read and follow peoples blogs that i dont even know. just to see what other people are up to in life and get fun ideas for crafts/gifts/etc
13) I used to love church when i went to CA . I like our new church but its so big that it sorta is a chore to go and find parking/seats/check noah in all while fighting seas of people that you dont connect with because you rarely see more than once
14) i would marry my husband again every single day
15) i have baby fever. i want another one. likenow!

while i do enjoy my sister and brother in laws blog (http://www.secondsnack.com/) i think that my favorite blog that i follow is Words of wisdom from the fouth mouthed founder of moms who drink and swear.. PHEW (http://nikkisblitheringblog.momswhodrinkandswear.com) . this woman has 2 kids and she is blunt and hilarious and says things that at times everyone who is a parent thinks but probably doesn't dare say!

the meaning behind my blog name:
well for a while now "live laugh love" has been the theme for wall and home decor and i see it framed, in wooden letters, in wall art .. etc.. so i thought why not add a 4th L onto the list and make it live laugh love laub. since thats what we do!

a tv show i'm currently addicted to
well since we moved we didnt get any special tv. just the very most basic channels.. i used to watch pretty much anything .. there was something on that caught my interest at any point of the day, which makes me exceedingly glad that we dont have that anymore.. i spend so much less time on the couch! anyway we still watch our favorite shows every week, just download them. I'll save my 2 favorites for last because thats what i have pictures of! so..  without further ado.. we watch... Lie to me, Southland, Modern Family, Justified (Timothy Olephant <3), Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory. These shows we both enjoy but i think that my two favorites are :

day 13

my favorite musician and why..
this is a toughy for me.. i used to be ALL into music.. i have a list of about 5 that rank right up in the top real close .. but i would have to say that my all time favorite is Thrice . Teppei, Dustin, Riley, and Ed .. they are AMAZING and creative and all of their albums are different but still fantastic. I have seen them in concert probably 6 times and every time they were nothing short of amazing. there's nothing on their albums that they dont do on stage which i like! They seem to be genuinely good hearted men with morals. They have yet to "sell out".. i could seriously listen to them all day every day. <3

a few days late.. but 19 months

my little terror is 19 months old now! YIKES! where has time gone?!?!
while i'm so excited to be where we are now with him.. it just seems like he's growing up TOO fast. yesterday i looked back at him while Chris was driving and he was sitting in his carseat with his bowl of fruitsnacks munching away and he just looked like he takes up his WHOLE carseat. since when??
anyway some things that he's into:
-still dancing to any sort of music he hears.. even if you're just singing to him
-he loves to talk and yell although what he's saying.. still no clue!
-he now gets half of his mealtime beverages in a big boy cup.. not a sippy cup! and he's doing SO good with it and he gets SOOOO excited when he sees it coming!
-he loves to give kisses

-he can identify most of his parts (nose, mouth, ear, belly,etc)
-he is generally such a happy boy super easy to make him laugh
-despite the above statement , he has also learned to throw tantrums.. the kind where he slaps you and or the closest objects to him when he's displeased or doesn't get what he wants.
-he's absolutely a climber.. everything he can possibly climb he does
-he was on his first antibiotics for a sinus infection

-i dont think he's grown too much so pretty close to the last stats i'd say still
-he's a helper.. he will help you with anything he can that you ask him to (like mowing the lawn!)

-i'm pretty sure we've almost officially lost his second nap of the day, but we HAVE picked up an extra 2 hours at night.. this was the case for 4 of the last 7 days and i can't say that i  mind too much.. the 2 quiet hours in the afternoon were nice.. but i also enjoy the later wake up call
- he loves babies! i love watching him with other kids because i think he's gonna make such a good big brother one day!
-everytime we pick him up from the childcare class at church they tell us how good he was and that he just wanted to play! when we first started going there he was always being held by someone when we got back to pick him up! so glad he's opening up to it and enjoying himself!

-he's a big copy cat.. you laugh,he laughs, you read, he reads. etc.. its wonderful! and entertaining!
i just love this little guy so much! i can't believe he's going to be TWO in 5 months!

what's in my makeup bag??
well.. i don't have a makeup bag. i don't take it with me because if i'm out long enough for it to look bad.. then i don't care what i look like at that point! i have a drawer at home. and an overnight bag that i pack when we will be gone .. overnight obviously..

Frank's is my favorite place to eat. I have spent so much time there and the food is always good... and also when i eat there i get to see my parents :)

a photo of the item i last purchased.WELL i purchased 2 things at the same time.. one of them is far more exciting.. not because of WHAT it is.. but.. well anyway.. i bought some bananas for noah

and for me i bought a brand new pair of jeans. they of course were on clearance for 9 dollars.. i dont pay full price for jeans. EVER. anyway the significant part of these jeans is that they are size 2 .. i havent fit into a size 2 since before i was pregnant.. it's nice to know that the hard work i've been doing in class is paying off .. these are very similar to what my new size 2 jeans look like!

day 7

my dream wedding.
well.. i can't say that i really had a DREAM wedding. the important part to me was the dream husband part.. which i managed to do! yay self! so the wedding was really just a formality for family and friends to share with us. i would have been happy at the courthouse with the husband :)

oops! days 5 and 6

yesterday was super busy .. so even tho i sat down twice to post day 5 (a photo of myself from 2 years ago) it never actually happened. so here we are

day 5: a picture of myself 2 years ago.. this is in December of 08.. so just over 2 years ago.

and day 6: a photo of an animal i would like to keep as a pet.. i LOVE giraffes :)
