its been well its been about 4 months since i last updated for real. Currently we are at 21.5 weeks pregnant and its a girl! I've started collecting clothes (all hand me downs so far and i'm pretty sure i will have NO need to buy this lady ANYTHING) we have gotten SO many cute things! I can't wait to have a girl running around and evening things out around here!
Noah is getting huge and even with his speech delay he's finally starting to talk up a storm.. he seems to be excited about getting his own baby but i dont think he can possibly actually comprehend the storm that is about to land in his direction! He LOVES trucks, cars, airplanes, helicopters, and busses... basically if it is big and moves.. he likes it! I have started creating a big boy room for him where our guest room used to be.. i think he's going to love it.. i used magnetic primer in parts of it so that he will be able to play with magnets on his wall. Its bright blue and bright green and he will have bunkbeds and a cars/construction mat to drive his cars on.. as i type this he made his way over to the couch and pulled up my shirt and started kissing my belly saying "hi baby" ... he's such a love even though he's most certainly a two year old boy.. ALSO .. notably last night i took him to the market with me and he likes to sit in the carts that have the car on front .. well they are completely enclosed and apparently while we were inthe checkout line he snagged himself 6 full sized candy bars.. a whole variety.. no 2 the same.. that was an embarassing two trips back inside to return them as i found them.. he was very proud of himself when we got to the car though! " LOOK MOMMY!!" with two hand fuls of candy! I talked to him about the wrong things to do but i couldn't be mad because he sees me put things into the cart and then we stand around for a minute and then walk out.. i dont thinkhe comprehends what that standing around thing has to do with anything!
We just celebrated our 1 year homeivarsary on the 3rd (chris' birthday) and it made me feel like i REALLY need to finish painting this place so that it looks more homey and decorated... i just have soooo much going on right now! Been feeling pretty good.. at last dr. checkup i had gained 3 lbs total and i think that was at 19 weeks.. so thats a significant improvement to the disaster that was my waist during the last pregnancy. I've been busy with sewing and embroidering but currently my machine is at the shop getting a tune up .. i miss it .. hah that thing hasnt seen the closet .. ever! she has a permanant spot on the craft desk .. but i thought she deserved a tune up and some adjustments! anyway nap time for the kidlet and the momma!

well friends, it's here
my little boy is officially 2 years old today. wow!
weight: 29 lbs
height: 34.5 inches
head: 19 inches..
all average and right on track :)
here are a few things about my little dude and his growing.. everything!
his vocabulary is getting bigger and bigger by the day! he still doesn't have sentences that make sense and usually doesn't even put words together.. except for example : string cheese
if its the name of the thing he does 2 words .. but mostly just one. some of his favorite words are Mommy, kitty, dogdog, peas(please), baby, uhhuh (this is actually thank you.. he says it in the same... i dunno.. tone? or whatever as thank you), dada, car, tuck (truck), moo (moon), and peepee (yep.. he's a boy)
a few weeks ago i switched him into a toddler bed and he's been LOVIN it.. the only problem i have is that he's been waking up earlier because of it! boooo!
he loves to play with cars and trucks and his lawn mower.. will push that thing EVERYWHERE if you let him.
He's a little lover.. he likes to give kisses and he's REALLY good at giving hugs... nice , tight around the neck hugs and it melts my heart when he comes to say goodnight to me (nightnight time is Daddy and noah's extra special time)
Noah has a little best friend named Owen.. Owen is 2 months younger than him but they are always out on adventures together.. Owen calls Noah "Nos" (noce) and Noah calls owen "OOOOOoo" and Owens mom, Shelby, and i call them collectively Nowen.

a baby no more
well, i now i havent updated in a while.. i've been SUPER busy but more about that later.
my plan was always to switch noah into a toddler bed at age 2 and then a few months later into the twin bed. he wont be 2 for another 3 weeks but i was cleaning his bedroom this weekend and so i just went for it.. converted his crib to the toddler bed.
sad moment for me to see it go, but i was still expecting a fight, or it to be a pain.. it was NOT at all.. i put him down, he got up twice but climbed right back in and was asleep within 5 minutes and he's been fine for 3 days of naps and 3 nights of through the night sleeping..
sigh.
anyway.. what i was saying about being extremely busy.. i have decided to take my crafting to the next level and do booths at craft faires. I have one this month on the 28th and *fingers crossed* one on october 22nd at the clairemont arts and crafts faire. These are some of the things i've been making a ton of

only 2 months?
my goodness.. there are less than 2 months left until my tiny (okay not so tiny) little 8 lb 4 oz baby boy will be TWO YEARS old.. not even believable. as i type this he is sitting next to me "opening" our mail. In real life he is ripping it all to pieces and then shoving it under the couch.. but its all junk so i'm not so concerned. In other news Noah AND Chris will be in a wedding on saturday so we're getting ready for that.
We also got a new car this week because Chris sold his truck..
I've also been super swamped with orders from my etsy store which is great but i have so much going on this week that its a touch stressful.. but i love it and i love that people love what i'm doing enough to pay for it so no complaints from me!
i guess thats all for now.. a mini update anyway :)

my little dude
In 2.5 months my little mr. will be 2 years old.. this is CRAZY to me.. i seriously am torn in the middle of feeling like he hasn't been here for TWO WHOLE years.. and feeling like he has been with us forever. He is such a character... yes he throws tantrums, yes he is stubborn, yes he screams and disobeys.. but he also LOVES to give kisses and hugs. he loves to dance with us clap his hands. he loves loves loves to be outside and i'm pretty sure if i put a blanket, pillow and some snacks out there he would NEVER come inside. he loves babies (bay-bay) and dogs (dogdogs). He also loves to brush his teeth and wear daddy's shoes. he likes to play chase and get horsie back rides too! ... i just love him.. he's soo much fun and such a little angel.. even when he's throwing tantrums he always follows it up with something adorable or loving and i just can't stay upset with him.. here are some pictures of him from the other day trying on the suit for the wedding he will be in next month!

i dont know
just thought my sad little blog needed an update..
let's see since the last post chris has gotten his steroid injections via epidural line. that was on friday (today being monday) and they told him to expect it to take 3 days or so before he wasn't too sore to feel any sort of relief. on his way out the door this morning i asked how he was feeling and he said tight but overall better than before.. so this is positive news!
today i traded zim and cindy my child for their carpet cleaner for the day. Our carpet is really cheap so it seems like breathing on it causes stains and its a pain to get the spray bottle and scrubber every time i see a stain so i let them go and then bring in the heavy duty machine to clean it up all nice.. but of course its been in the 80's and 90's for like a week and today .. the day that i need my carpets to dry.. its cold and overcast with scattered showers.. seriously?
next on my list of to do's for the day is head out to get the boys easter basket goodies! chris acts like hes confused about why he keeps getting easter baskets but i think that he secretly enjoys knowing that i thought about him and the things that he likes :)
looking into getting a new car. i love my dear old wednesday but when we have 2 carseats back there (this is NOT an announcement ps) it will be a pain to maneuver them in and out.. lots of time for research but we went and looked yesterday and i found that i really like the mitsubishi outlander.. and we found a good deal on a 2010 one with 17k miles on.. it will probably be gone by the time we are ready though... we'll see.

20 months
my oh my. time is flying right past us! my little baby boy will be TWO years old in FOUR months.. that just can NOT be right can it??
things with him are mostly the same. a few notable changes are:
he has added more sounds to his vocabulary.. still not many of them are coherent words.. but until this month he didnt really have a broad range of sounds..
he has been sleeping in a little bit later and always wakes up (even from his naps) giggling and laughing and chatting up a storm
his bottom 2 incisors still havent broken through but he lets me know that they are hurting by pointing at his mouth when i ask him what's wrong.
he likes to sit at the table with us for meals and drink out of his big boy cup..
i think thats about all thats new.. not much has changed but he will be taking his second Hawaiian adventure vacation next week :) last year we took him to maui with us, and next week we are going to kauai for a week. Noah's grammy tracy is coming with us so mom and dad can do some fun adult activities.. zip lining, horseback riding, kayaking, snorkeling, etc :)

well today i'm feeling good. Noah and i went on a fieldtrip with Luna moms club to the california science center .. it was WAY too crowded but it wore noah out and he took a good 4.5 hour nap when we got home and i finished a quilt i was working on! this morning before we went we had a photo shoot and here is one of my favorites.. we were copy catting each other .. he's so cute!

this is me last year.. (well technically this was 09, but right at the end) i chose it because it showcases pretty well how heavy i let myself stay after i had noah.. he's already almost 6 months old in this picture and i'm obviously still packing the pounds. soon after this i decided it was time but i totally didnt take is seriously.. so while i lost about 15 lbs on my own i still didn't exercise the way i should have. 3 months ago i started a workout class for the post baby body of moms.. its called body back and i was a member of the first rancho cucamonga class. so the next picture is 2 in 1.. the before was taken january 18th the after march 10th
I am taking the class for the second time, we just started this morning. I am going to keep doing body back until i get pregnant again at which point i will switch my membership to stroller strides to maintain fitness and control weight gain this time around!

my celebrity crush.. i must admit .. i have 2 of them.. although they are like celebrity friend crushes.. i just want to be friends with them because they are freaking amazing and i think they would be the coolest friends ever and look! they are already friends with each other.. just waiting for me to join their group of awesome!

day 14
a tv show i'm currently addicted to
well since we moved we didnt get any special tv. just the very most basic channels.. i used to watch pretty much anything .. there was something on that caught my interest at any point of the day, which makes me exceedingly glad that we dont have that anymore.. i spend so much less time on the couch! anyway we still watch our favorite shows every week, just download them. I'll save my 2 favorites for last because thats what i have pictures of! so.. without further ado.. we watch... Lie to me, Southland, Modern Family, Justified (Timothy Olephant <3), Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory. These shows we both enjoy but i think that my two favorites are :
BONES and
How I Met Your Mother.. (which just officially got picked up for another 2 seasons! woooo!)

day 13
my favorite musician and why..
this is a toughy for me.. i used to be ALL into music.. i have a list of about 5 that rank right up in the top real close .. but i would have to say that my all time favorite is Thrice . Teppei, Dustin, Riley, and Ed .. they are AMAZING and creative and all of their albums are different but still fantastic. I have seen them in concert probably 6 times and every time they were nothing short of amazing. there's nothing on their albums that they dont do on stage which i like! They seem to be genuinely good hearted men with morals. They have yet to "sell out".. i could seriously listen to them all day every day. <3

a few days late.. but 19 months
my little terror is 19 months old now! YIKES! where has time gone?!?!
while i'm so excited to be where we are now with him.. it just seems like he's growing up TOO fast. yesterday i looked back at him while Chris was driving and he was sitting in his carseat with his bowl of fruitsnacks munching away and he just looked like he takes up his WHOLE carseat. since when??
anyway some things that he's into:
-still dancing to any sort of music he hears.. even if you're just singing to him
-he loves to talk and yell although what he's saying.. still no clue!
-he now gets half of his mealtime beverages in a big boy cup.. not a sippy cup! and he's doing SO good with it and he gets SOOOO excited when he sees it coming!
-he loves to give kisses
-he can identify most of his parts (nose, mouth, ear, belly,etc)
-he is generally such a happy boy super easy to make him laugh
-despite the above statement , he has also learned to throw tantrums.. the kind where he slaps you and or the closest objects to him when he's displeased or doesn't get what he wants.
-he's absolutely a climber.. everything he can possibly climb he does
-he was on his first antibiotics for a sinus infection
-i dont think he's grown too much so pretty close to the last stats i'd say still
-he's a helper.. he will help you with anything he can that you ask him to (like mowing the lawn!)
-i'm pretty sure we've almost officially lost his second nap of the day, but we HAVE picked up an extra 2 hours at night.. this was the case for 4 of the last 7 days and i can't say that i mind too much.. the 2 quiet hours in the afternoon were nice.. but i also enjoy the later wake up call
- he loves babies! i love watching him with other kids because i think he's gonna make such a good big brother one day!
-everytime we pick him up from the childcare class at church they tell us how good he was and that he just wanted to play! when we first started going there he was always being held by someone when we got back to pick him up! so glad he's opening up to it and enjoying himself!
-he's a big copy cat.. you laugh,he laughs, you read, he reads. etc.. its wonderful! and entertaining!
